International Attention
We shipped this beautiful western shirt to Norway recently and it is our first international sale! Last year we almost sold a vintage suitcase to an Etsy shop in Hong Kong but shipping would have been $300 and it was an unrealistic purchase for them. We hope our shirt reaches Norway safely! It would be a tragedy to lose this snap button treasure.

Great Grandma's Never Fail Apple Pie
We recorded a song today (March 18, 1924) It's a song that Alli wrote in memory of her great grandmother. That got us in the mood for her great grandma's Never Fail Apple Pie recipe. We decided to take photos along the way.
Here are the ingredients: flour, sugar, butter, salt, nutmeg, cinnamon, lemon, an egg or two, 6 apples (It's always best to pick locally-grown apples because they are more fresh for baking. Also, it never hurts to pick different types of apples. Each type will lend a different flavor.)
We made our dough the other day and let it sit in the refrigerator. This makes it easy to roll the dough into the crust shape. Once you roll out the dough and put it in the pie plate, put it in the refrigerator. This will help prevent it from shrinking when you bake it.
Peel and slice the apples, mix the dry ingredients (sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt) and toss with the apples. Then squeeze one half of the lemon onto the apple mixture. Spoon the apple mixture into the pie plate. Dot with butter. Cover the pie with a rolled out piece of dough. With a knife, make a few slits in the top. Wipe the top with a little bit of egg and dust it with sugar. Put in the oven for 40-45 minutes.
Yay!
Yum!
